We are a manufacturing company operating in the food industry with a focus on sustainable development, production and distribution of the lifestyle functional foods through distributors, business networks, independent business partners or directly to the consumers through digital business platforms.

Our History

TEKMAR is a story about passion, determination and growth. This has taken us from three founders and a good idea in 1996 to a company in 2022, with more than 80 employees and customers in 32 global markets.

Founding of tekmar company in Nitra / Slovakia

1997

Opening of factory for muesli bars production

2001

Production expansion with yoghurt program and cereals mixtures packaging

2002

becoming members of association plma Amsterdam

2003

Introduction of the first functional bars as greenline and protein program

2009

Approval of our new, modern manufacturing and distribution area in Lužianky

We recommend a balanced diet and compliance with authority dietary recommendations to all our customers. If you do not consume a recommended amount of all food groups, our good advice is to use food supplements that provide a wide range of vitamins and minerals necessary for the human body. TEKMAR offers products containing important nutrients.

TEKMAR offers products with reliable effect studies. Our R&D department, in cooperation with independent expert authorities, pays attention to the studies regarding new products to ensure their quality. All our products are based on science and our statements are in accordance with EU regulations regarding the nutrition and health claims. By combining the expertise of research and development team with statements from experts in legal affaires and business development, all legal and scientific requirements are adhered: from idea to product, during production process, packaging information and marketing of the finished product. During raw materials and ingredients selection, we follow our quality safety standards and relevant regulatory norms.

For TEKMAR, this means offering high-quality products and making them available to everyone in a suitable form. To explain to customers in a very simple and comprehensible manner, all the benefits and advantages that they will gain with our products.
To use only sustainable ingredients in products

We will increase emphasis on quality of our processes in area of relations with suppliers of energy, raw materials and services. In our production and logistics processes, we will consistently pay attention to ecological principles. We are ready to use exclusively processable packaging, to replace dyes in the logistics process, to completely limit unsuitable waste. We are committed to use energy from alternative sources, saving water consumption and a consistent green economy. We are building green island around our production premises by planting fruit trees, vineyards, beehives and green roofs using rainwater for efficient irrigation system.
Decent work and economic growth

We set high standards for the working conditions of our employees, for their permanent education and the possibility of professional and career growth. We also strive for a high diversity in terms of social background, ethnicity and age. Social conditions in our supply chain are important for us and for this reason, all our suppliers must also meet our requirements related to employee rights, social conditions and sustainable production.
Responsible consumption and production

We realize that our processes have a trail. One of our most important initiatives is improving our product packaging and logistics to make them as sustainable as possible. Our goal is that all our packaging to be visually made of recycled materials.
